Before laptops are elevated to this position then school divisions need to carefully select those site where information is accurate, on the appropriate reading/comprehension level, and accessible to all students.

Won't the process of selecting and limiting information become more difficult when a system becomes more reliant upon the internet?
Web sites are constantly added, changed, and removed whereas textbooks are consistent. There is no guarantee that a carefully selected site will remain for more than a short period of time. How would a laptop based school system deal with this issue? Would it incorporate CD rom technology instead?
