If you have not been to school in a while you may have forgotten how heavy paper is. I believe it to be stunting growth of students. As on I can say that my backpack has caused back problems. Laptops are quite a bit lighter. Now I should not say that computers completley replace paper, as computers will not be able to be read in 10000 years time, if history is to repeat. However in the K-12 grades, weight is the main issue, not posterity.

An e-book that can hold 100,000 printed pages at a cost of $300 makes an awful lot of sense to me. The American Chiropractic Association would probably love to see 100 lb. books.:)
