Meet the NSBA Board of Directors
NSBA's governing body is its 25-member Board of Directors. It includes four officers and 15 directors (three from each of NSBA's five regions, who are elected to staggered three-year terms). In addition, NSBA has six ex officio board members. These board members represent the Council of Urban Boards of Education, the National Black Caucus of School Board Members, the National Hispanic Caucus of School Board Members, the Chairman of NSBA's Liaison Committee with its State Association Members, the Chairman of the Council of School Attorneys, and NSBA's Executive Director. The Board normally meets four times a year.
